This mask of Yama, Lord of the Underworld, is a beautiful example of what can still be purchased in that remote Himalayan country. Craftsmanship is alive and well. And yes, these masks are still used during the festival performance.

The elaborately carved mask is richly decorated and painted in great detail. It shows the skill of finest craftsmanship. The long black horns and central pole is removable, embellish this piece of art. To enjoy the mask, it can be placed on a shelf or hung on the wall, as it has two holes at the top.

This mask is available only in large size.
