Lime box. Bhutan, 19th Century Brass with silver medallions with copper bottom. Remnants of lime are found inside (to keep the original state of product). The outside is very beautifully decorated with a relief design of flowers/floral motifs, and also the sides and base are expertly engraved. Very good antique condition, beautiful patina, feels soft and well-used. Rests of white lime, sirih or betel are still clearly present in the box.
Weight 149 grams.
Measurements 7.5 cm diameter and 5 cm high.
